Singing Wizard overcame a long absence from the track when successful at Kelso in March and he has to be respected but Don McCain's gelding may struggle to defy the penalty for that win so looks booked for a place at best in a race taken to go to LITTLE GEORGE, who gets the vote ahead of Mayor of Kilcock. The last mentioned showed promise in bumpers before making an encouraging debut over hurdles at Hereford last month when a close third behind The Treacle Eater. Given the possibility of further improvement, he should be thereabouts again. Sainglend was highly tried at Aintree last time and should appreciate the drop in class today, while Turtle Spirit made a pleasing debut over timber at Kelso recently but needs to improve to trouble the judge. Preference though is for Alan King's Little George, who has shown improvement with each start in bumpers and he looks to have been given a decent opportunity to open his account over hurdles at the first time of asking.
