Verdict

El Borracho is still well treated on his chase form despite having been raised 7lb for winning at Uttoxeter. Grey Spirit will have needed his run at Warwick while Hurricane Ali’s form this year stands up to scrutiny, though he’s another who has gone up 7lb for a recent win. Krypton Gold came good against his own age group at Ascot but fellow four-year-old KOI DODVILLE would also have a chance on his defeat of Herbiers at Cheltenham in April and he did win on this card 12 months ago. Scots Poet won a novice event at Sedgefield last month but this is a much tougher assignment.
