      Verdict

      HIGH JINX is jumping hurdles late in life but was still showing decent form in Group 2 races on the Flat last year and he made a smooth transition to the winter game at Kelso. Vivant looks the only danger having won a maiden at Worcester by 16 lengths. That was her first run for Tom Lacey but her eighth start over hurdles in total. Ballyfarsoon won five times on the Flat up to 2m so should stay but it’s harder to make a case for Percy Thrower and Clayton Hall.
