Verdict

Vinnie My Boy stepped up markedly on his first run when second at Ffos Las and is the type to improve with experience. He may prove the best of those who have had a run ahead of Bangor third Best Director and Highland Rain, who stayed on late into sixth at Chepstow having been held up well off the pace. WESTERN MOVIE, a 135,000 euro purchase, is a half-brother to six winners including bumper horses Diamond Sal and Flash Of Genius and may well be good enough to make a winning debut for Nicky Henderson.
