Verdict

Beer Goggles has hit form with a vengeance but will need more if he’s to complete his hat-trick. Rolling Maul was only headed close home at Cheltenham last month and would have every chance on that form. Iora Glas arrives off the back of a win at Cheltenham while Cooking Fat was still close up when falling in a better race last time at Haydock. JENNYS MELODY was a 50/1 chance when landing a mares’ handicap at Ayr last month for the second year running but there was no fluke about the result and the booking of Richard Johnson here helps offset a 9lb rise.
