Verdict

Fergus Gillard is 3-9 riding Dell' Arca and David Pipe’s 12-year-old can go close again off top weight in a race like this. JUSTATENNER has gone up 4lb for winning at Hexham but has run well off higher marks in the past so is taken to complete a double, though any market support for The Sweeney should be noted after a pipe-opener at Uttoxeter in July. The Grand Visir boasts decent form on the Flat but struggles to get his head in front and has not shown much aptitude for hurdling in the past while O'Hanrahan Bridge was a disappointing favourite behind Legalized at Ayr around this time last year. The Knot Is Tied bolted up in a lower grade at Fakenham nine days ago, however, and Volcano won off this mark over fences in the spring. Ellis Collier has been getting the best out of Uno Mas and he also goes on the shortlist.
