Verdict
A low grade event for the track and Major Drive, who comes here in top form, is the TEAMtalk pick to follow up last month's success at Hexham. the son of Sadler's Wells appeared to show improvement for the step up to this trip when a convincing six-length winner and, being unexposed at this distance, can progress further and defy a subsequent 5lb rise. Jaseur is thrown in on his old form but remains without a win over hurdles and looks on the downgrade while the inexperienced Bude is 2lb out of the handicap and is likely to struggle against his elders. Summer Bounty has place claims if transferring the form of his two Flat wins this year but is opposable at this level. Marked Man is entitled to be sharper for a promising return earlier in the month while Middleway and Spot The Native have both been in fair form and could prove dangers.
