Verdict
Although Leslingtaylor should be seen to better effect now back over the bigger obstacles we turn to last time out winner BEGGARS CAP to land this good Handicap Chase while Astarador is potentially well weighted on his handicap bow in this sphere. The Ferdy Murphy trained selection got up to score easily enough over course and distance in a slightly weaker race last time. He's been competitive at this level in the past and still looks ok off a six pounds higher mark now he's in form. Leslingtaylor has been campaigning over timber with limited effect recently but the last time we saw John Quinn's charge in this sphere he was scoring in similar company at Doncaster and his mark rise for that success looks fair. On the pick of his novice form Astarador looks to be off a light mark so should be going well while Palomar will need to show form up to the level of his best hurdles runs to get up here. A really decent race this and Beggars Cap is the percentage call.
