Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this novices chase but the principals look to be Strong Flow, Ballycassidy and Tyneandthyneagain and the confident vote goes to Strong Flow. The gelding from the Paul Nicholl's yard won well at Kelso last time out when defeating Clonmel's Minella and he need only reproduce that effort to score before going on to much better things, Ballycassidy rates the main danger in won the summer plate at Market Rasen in the early part of the season and was a fair third behind Brother Joe last time out but his overall profile suggests he has to improve to score. Tyneandthyneagain was a fair hurdler and is sure to have been well schooled but he has had his problems and he may need this his first run in 593 days. Loy's Lad is taking a step up in grade and the confident vote goes to Strong Flow.
