Verdict

On Tour was fifth in a Grade 3 here in the spring and only headed close home on his reappearance in one of these at Chepstow. Despite a 3lb rise, he’s still fairly treated but hasn’t won in almost two years. THEATRE GUIDE was only sixth at Chepstow but clearly in need of the run and was allowed to come home in his own time once his chance had gone. Though he’s closely matched with Carole's Destrier on their run together at Newbury in March, the latter lacks a recent run so the Tizzard veteran can come out on top this time. Killaro Boy went very close in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter in June after winning a hunter chase on his first run for Henry Oliver so can’t be ignored..
