Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has a good record in this including last year's winner Adelaide and HIGHLAND REEL looks to have just as good a chance. The latter beat War Dispatch when runner-up in the French Derby in May and returned to winning ways with victory in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood last time. Italian Derby winner Goldstream has since joined leading German trainer Andreas Wohler and we'll find out how good he is today but Force The Pass is obviously the best of the home challengers as he won a Grade 1 at Belmont last time with Closing Bell and Granny's Kitten well behind.
