Verdict

PERCY STREET was a bigger price than both stablemate Domperignon Du Lys and Dolos in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham but did best of that trio. He can reverse earlier Sandown running with Gregarious on this better surface, though the latter’s latest win at the Esher course has been franked by the subsequent performances of the runner-up. Recent Huntingdon winner So Celebre was no match for Domperignon Du Lys at Newcastle in November but Silver Streak has improved for the switch to Evan Williams, though this is his toughest assignment to date.
