Verdict

Taquin Du Seuil won by 15 lengths on his hurdles bow at Uttoxeter, his first run since arriving from France. But he may struggle to give 5lb here to My Tent Or Yours, who had smart form in bumpers last year, and CHIBERTA KING. The latter hasn't managed a win on the Flat this year but was third to Opinion Poll in the Henry II Stakes at Sandown and fifth in the Goodwood Cup, beaten less than four lengths. He can transfer that form to the winter game and Andrew Balding's six-year-old could turn out to be a smart novice. The others have all shown form which entitles them to respect but French raider Wetak needs further and bottomless ground to show his best.
