Verdict
FRANKLIN D (NAP) justified market confidence in a Sandown maiden in July and was then only beaten half-a-length in a handicap at Newmarket. He looks to be on an upward curve and, if handling today's softer going, should be the one to beat. Yeager is a previous course and distance winner who wouldn't be without a chance having had a couple of recent runs to blow away any cobwebs. Subtle Knife will enjoy the ground while Pallister, Obsidian and Supreme Occasion should all be thereabouts. Arthenus won at Nottingham three weeks ago and his stable is in good form, though he looks held by the selection on collateral form.
