Assault On Rome was the outsider of a five-strong field when scoring at Goodwood and that form should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. Forest Maiden was third off today's mark at Goodwood last time but hasn't raced on ground this soft. Neither has Light And Shade while Wee Jean's best form is over shorter trips. ROYAL SILK has been rested since flopping at Sandown in June. She'd looked useful when scoring earlier at Goodwood and Tom Marquand's claim will aid her cause here. Teosroyal has only won a three-runner race so far but did finish ahead of Light and Shade at Wolverhampton last month.
