Verdict

Itlaaq is perfectly at home in this grade and should make a bold bid along with Woolfall Treasure, who has decent claims on his earlier second over C&D at the Shergar Cup meeting. Ardlui posted a good effort at Chester last time which suggests he won't be far away while the the three-year-old Somemothersdohavem won at Kempton last month with a below-par Red Orator well beaten. The latter has since gone close at Hamilton and it's too soon to write him off but a chance is taken on OCEAN'S MINSTREL. Fourth in the 2010 Cesarewitch, he was having his first outing since when running well for a long way in Listed company on his comeback. He looks to have retained his ability so John Ryan's charge gets the nod.
