    Verdict

Royal Rock has won this twice and though unsuccessful since last year's victory he's been running well enough to make a bold bid. Genki was narrowly beaten in 2010 and started favourite a year ago but missed the break and never got into it. He's better than that and should be in the shake-up as should Libranno if in the same kind of form that saw him land a Group 2 at Doncaster three weeks ago though that was over 7f. Soul finished last that day but is better judged on his very easy victory in a Newbury Group 3 on heavy ground in July. MINCE has completed a fast-ground hat-trick, twice breaking track records in the process. She was mightily impressive in the Listed Garrowby Stakes at York last time and, as she's proved herself on soft ground in the past, should take this on the way to bigger things.
