    Verdict

Newcastle winner Bellechance, withdrawn from a better race at Newmarket yesterday, faces a similarly stiff task here. Abshir Zain was last of 15 on his debut at Newmarket and will have to improve dramatically on that to score here while Sixx has struggled since scoring on his debut at Salisbury. Stablemate Red Seventy won well at the same track last month, however, and has plenty of scope for further improvement but he could find the filly POETIC DANCER a tough nut to crack. After a promising debut, she won a shade cosily at Newbury next time and the form of that race has worked out well.
