Verdict
Sixo gets the vote here ahead Manly Money and Melford. The selection is game and dependable, qualities that stood him in good stead when scoring over two miles at Sandown last time. This trip should suit better and looks set to go well. Manly Money won well at Hereford last time. It was not a strong race but he scored in style and will keep on improving over this kind of trip and further. Melford defied expectations to beat Nathos - who runs in the first race on the Ascot card - at Exeter last time. Normal improvement alone from that run gives him chances here. There is no doubt that Captain Corelli has ability while Joes Edge has been knocking at the door of late. However, we prefer others today. Of then others, Barry Geraghty has been booked Thieves' Glen so watch the betting market for clues with regard to this one's chances. However, overall, we like the look of Sixo.
