        Verdict

        Approaching Storm steps back down to a more realistic level after a failure in better company to head the weights. If she was to reproduce anything like her second to Frenchman's Bay, she would take all the beating but Jamie Spencer is back aboard and this should be noted. Transcendatale comes here in good heart after some fair efforts in lower grade. Merewood is an interesting horse on her handicap debut although she looks to probably need further than this trip.
