Verdict

Tommy Stack's Lolly For Dolly was not disgraced in the Irish 1,000 Guineas on her most recent start and could be of interest dropping into this Listed race but she may struggle under her weight and preference is for SWEET SONNET, who gets the verdict ahead of Safina. Sir Michael Stoute's filly was highly tried in a group 3 race on her reappearance but was not disgraced when fourth to Music Show and duly opened her account in a Chester maiden subsequently last month. She looks to be going the right way and the yard's runners could hardly be in better form so makes more appeal than Ralph Beckett's Miss Zooter, who has won her last two starts but this is a lot tougher than the handicap that she won at Newbury on her most recent outing. Richard Hannon's Pollenator struggled in this grade behind Principal Role at Newbury recently and of more interest may be Henry Cecil's Timepiece, who is better than she showed in the Oaks last month when she seemed not to get the trip. Za Za Zoom was narrowly beaten in this grade at Newbury on her most recent start on her final outing as a juvenile and she could be of interest on her reappearance but preference is for Saeed Bin Suroor's Sweet Sonnet. The daughter of Seeking The Gold should come on for her reappearance run at York last month with the yard's runners in better form now so she looks worth chancing off what seems a fair mark.
