Verdict

Changingoftheguard won the Chester Vase before finishing fifth in the Derby less than two weeks ago. This might come around soon enough but he is a smart performer and the one to beat on all known form. However, he lacks the scope of OTTOMAN FLEET who did well to overhaul the well-backed Zain Sarinda on his second start in a Listed race at Newmarket considering he fell out the stalls. Savvy Victory will struggle to reverse that running and Lysander looks held on collateral form. Grand Alliance is preferred to Dark Moon Rising of the others.
