In depth

Verdict

The Questioner has been knocking on the door but SPORTING ACE came up against a useful novice at Exeter on his return to action and will strip fitter here. Halifax is proving frustrating to follow but should be thereabouts again and One For The Wall may not have stayed 2m7f on soft ground at Worcester last month. Betterforeveryone has only gone up 4lb for making a winning start in handicaps at Bangor so looks a threat to all but Buttsbury Lady has now been a beaten favourite in two of her last three outings.
