In depth

Verdict

Choix Des Armes, Cigarisi and Sandhurst Lad are arguably most interesting of the newcomers at this stage but Nicky Henderson has a splendid record in such contests and his TALE OF THE TWEED is taken to build on a solid if unspectacular debut at Kelso last May. He has been given a good break since and hopefully will settle a little better than on debut. Going Gold should be in the mix, whilst pointing winner, Global Stage and Silver Kayf, who displayed definite promise on debut, are also of interest in a contest where the market could prove especially informative.
