Plenty of progressive types to choose from but the most visually impressive recent winner was CAPE PERON. Henry Candy's charge showed a terrific turn of foot when bursting clear of the field at Doncaster last time and may well be up to defying a 13lb hike in the weights. Law Enforcement has struggled this year having won a Group 1 in Italy in October and Richard Hughes prefers Wentworth of the Hannon quintet while Queensbury Rules makes more appeal than stablemate Fehaydi back over a mile. Homage looks the more likely of Jeremy Noseda's duo while stable companions Maputo and Shebebi also have claims. Haafaguinea and Market Town are closely matched on latest running at Sandown and String Theory and Tarikhi are both better than their recent below par effort suggests.
