Verdict
Danny Kirwan has been hard to train and may never fulfil the promise he showed in bumpers. TIME FLIES BY was also a smart performer in bumpers and very highly tried in two starts over timber last season. Given the ability he’s already shown, he is likely to be a warm order in this. The Edgar Wallace looked a nice prospect in bumpers last season and should be worth following this term, whatever his fate today. Royal Pretender shaped nicely at Chepstow and looks best of the rest.
