Verdict

Ballydoyle has won two of the last four renewals though Naas winner Johannes Brahms drops down in trip. He’s still preferred to stablemate Alabama while Barnwell Boy is another 6f winner having scored at Goodwood on his debut. But MAXIMUM IMPACT remains unbeaten having landed a conditions race over track and trip in good style and Alice Haynes’ grey colt gets the vote to confirm latest running with previous winner Action Point. The selection’s stablemate Hala Emaraaty is also unbeaten but conditions race winner Bombay Bazaar looks to have the stronger form having beaten Fusterlandia at Beverley. Thirsk winner Sergeant Wilko will appreciate any rain while Irish challenger Supersonic Man is going the right way. Fandom was due to race in the Coventry here yesterday.
