        Verdict

        Lucarno has the beating of Salford Mill on Derby form and is taken to confirm that, getting the vote to resume winning ways with Boscobel rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown progressive form this term and should appreciate the faster ground today than at Epsom. Michael Bell's Spice Route has more to do than when winning a handicap at York last time, while Al Tharib was well held in the Sandown Classic Trial before opening his account in a Chester maiden last time. Lion Sands created a favourable impression when making a winning return at Haydock last month and could be of interest although a bigger threat is likely to come from Mark Johnston's Glasgow Stakes winner Boscobel. Lucarno has the pick of the form though and he is preferred.
