In depth

Verdict

A couple of these stand out on hurdling form. Lord Of House is one, but he never recovered from a mistake on his chasing debut at Exeter and was well beaten despite finishing third. It's too soon to write him off, but TOP OF THE RANGE is preferred in this. The latter scored over timber at Sandown in March and tries his luck for the first time over fences today. Titchwood won over hurdles at Southwell early in the year and makes more appeal than Gee Hi and Bin End while winning pointer My Dads Horse has his first start under Rules on his return from a lengthy absence.
