In depth

Verdict

Already decent over hurdles, WENYERREADYFREDDIE looks an exciting prospect over the larger obstacles judged on an impressive success in a novices’ handicap chase over course and distance earlier in the month. Nicky Henderson’s charge looks the one to beat on that evidence and should have the measure of the others with experience over fences, Azzerti and Storm Home. But Moon Racer and Kildisart may prove a bigger threats now chasing given both share a similar mark over timber having won decent handicaps at Ayr and Kempton respectively and the latter also won a maiden hurdle here in November. Onefortheroadtom and Piton Pete have both won novice hurdles with the former looking to have the edge on today’s terms.
