Verdict
Hidden Hope looks to be the answer to a decent Group 3 contest, with Beneventa a threat, Summitville likely to go well, and Mazuna another with each way claims. The selection drops back from Group 2 company, where she has performed well on her last two starts to be a half length second at Deauville last time, having been fourth in the Lancashire Oaks prior to that. Geoff Wragg's inmate gets this trip well and handles any ground, and she sets the standard here. The four-year-old Beneventa was well behind the selection at Deauville, but is better judged on her previous Gropu 2 success over 9f earlier in the year and a Newmarket Listed success over this trip in July. John Dunlop is having winners, so she may well be on the way back after a short break, and she can finish much nearer this time. Summitville was finishing in the frame in Group 1s last year and wasn't beaten too far in the Lancashire Oaks herself. This return to 12 furlongs will help and she will be on the premises, while Park Hill second Mazuna is pitched in here by the admirable Clive Brittain, who is never afraid to take them on, and she could reward him with another place at decent odds. Our idea of the winner here though is Hidden Hope.
