      Heros Fatal (FR) Frustrating gelding who was once thought of as top class; not been at his best in most recent runs and not the best of jumpers; won the Cesarewitch in 2000.

      Khayrawani (IRE) Would have an excellent chance on the best of his old form but has been out of form for far too long to take seriously.

      Ballycassidy (IRE) Looks to be a progressive hurdler and was travelling well when falling at Aintree last time out; seems suited by any ground and set to run a big race unless heavy fall last time has affected him.

      Regal Holly Warmed up for this with a gentle spin out at Chepstow; step up in trip looks set to suit and should go well though trainer is in dreadful form.

      Montreal (FR) Nice run here three weeks ago gives him every chance but fast ground is not sure to suit and could struggle to get competitive; has been beaten at odds-on in four-runner race before.
