Verdict

KILDISART was having his first start of the year when second to the progressive Count Meribel at Carlisle on his hurdling bow. Ben Pauling’s charge is preferred to Rockpoint, third over 2m here last time when finishing just ahead of Notre Ami. Turtle Wars was placed over hurdles at Bangor recently and is one of three Nicky Henderson runners with bumper winners Settie Hill and Storm Of Intrigue the others while Oakley Hall is another winning bumper and Storm Control landed a point-to-point in Ireland back in April. Turangi could have been found an easier racecourse debut and is one to note.
