Golden Stunner was beaten only a head in Listed company at York earlier and Pirouette was placed at this level at Pontefract last time. Tisbutadream won a Listed race at Salisbury but meets higher-rated horses today and the progressive Mittens is preferred to both On Her Toes and Whispering Bell, having won a handicap here earlier this month. Whispering Bell is a maiden winner upped in class but Frankie sticks with stablemate NATHRA, who was good enough to finish runner-up in last year’s French 1000 Guineas and will go close on her reappearance if running up to the same sort of level.
