Verdict

A big weight has proved no obstacle to winning this in recent years so Creevytennant, fourth to Soll in one of these at Exeter last time and successful in the hunter chase on this card in 2013, is respected. But RELAX was beaten less than a length by Soll at Newbury last month in a race in which Roalco De Farges was pulled up. He looks the pick of Venetia Williams' two runners ahead of Doncaster winner Aachen, who was pulled up when Wayward Prince came right back to form in the Grimthorpe at the latter track, though whether Hilary Parrott's 11-year-old will reproduce that form here is anybody's guess. Five Star Wilsham can't be ignored but Chartreux was never travelling and quickly pulled up last time at Kempton so has a bit to prove while this might be too tough for Firm Order.
