Verdict
Habitual front-runner GOSHEN just came up short against the very best over hurdles but is an exciting prospect if taking to fences. He was just beaten in a pipe-opener on the Flat recently. The others all have the potential to do well over the larger obstacles but Perth second Gowel Road will need to brush up his jumping and, along with Samarrive and Cobblers Dream, will have to carry more than his allotted weight.
