In depth
Verdict
Idem placed in both starts last season, including once here, but might need this. Isenay has claims on his third over course and distance last month and Both Barrels wasn’t beaten far over track and trip in November. Chalk That Down found only one too good at Newcastle on Boxing Day and is an almost certain improver but Hombre De Guerra and BOOSTER BOB are interesting newcomers. The latter hails from a yard that boasts an unblemished record with its bumper runners here in recent years so gets the nod.
