Verdict

Three Faces West, who is a full brother to chaser Forgotten Gold, could be interesting here for Donald McCain despite a lengthy absence. Calivigny may do better now his attentions are switched to hurdles but SIR VINSKI is surely better than he showed on his hurdling debut at Newcastle. He couldn't quicken in the closing stages having been held up so maybe this extra half-mile will suit and this isn't a strong heat.
