      Verdict

Hartforth has only been raised 4lb for winning at Hexham when Amore Mio was fourth, but this is a better race. DAASIJ starts the season on a high enough mark but goes well fresh and Nick Alexander's charge should give supporters a run for their money. He's preferred to The Flaming Matron, who didn't beat much at Cartmel in May, while Auberge seems to reserve his best for Hexham and looks to be in the handicapper's grip at present.
