Verdict

Rule Maker is likely to be in warm order for his handicap bow but with him not obviously thrown in preference is for the on form LOVEINTHESAND while course and distance winner Daring Dream also has claims. A winner of a maiden on his first start of the year the pick impressed when making a handicap debut last time when only held a neck by Chambers at Thirsk. That form has started to work out so he can score despite a mark rise. Rule Maker was impressive when getting off the mark after taking on a step down in distance so while he should be capable off this rating it looks best to wait and see if it's correct at the likely prices. Daring Dream won over course and distance in a similar race two starts ago but he now looks in the grip of the assessor after being well held last time. Hail Bold Chief was less than a length away from winning on his last run and off the same rating should go close as should Bin Shamardal after a much improved run last time out. An interesting race that can go the way of Loveinthesand.
