Sputnik won this a year ago and had been in reasonable form until pulling up at Perth in September. THUNDER IN MILAN (NAP) has been raised 9lb for a very convincing victory on the latter track and looks the one to beat in that kind of form. Everyday Champagne scored over three miles at Doncaster though his form this summer has been on quick ground in small fields. Ex S'elance will love the conditions and Aviewtosea has won off a higher mark than this. Creative Control ran poorly at Bangor after a convincing victory at Uttoxeter.
