In depth

Verdict

Versatile as regards the going, COLONY QUEEN (NAP) continues to defy the handicapper. She’s now won four of only seven starts on Turf after scoring at Beverley last time and Rab Havlin was on board for an earlier success at Newcastle. Glasses Up looks a threat having won over a mile here a fortnight ago while Secretarial has plenty of scope stepping up in trip. Amjaady and The Navigator would prefer a faster surface while Myrmidons attempts a longer distance on his handicap debut.
