Verdict

Merricourt was engaged in the 3.40 Musselburgh yesterday but would have every chance if turning up. Three Saints Bay, on a long losing run, has only run once so far this year and has had wind surgery since. Haydock runner-up FIRST GREYED gets the nod over stable companion Blowing Wind and Newcastle second St Andrew's Castle as Judgment Call was only third off this mark when favourite for a similar race here on Monday.
