In depth

Verdict

TEARS FROM HEAVEN has returned from a long break in good form and scored from 4lb lower at Musselburgh last month, only his third run in almost two years. He looks the one to be on to complete a double with his young rider able to claim 8lb. Soul Angel was very close up in third at Musselburgh and would have made a race of it but for a last-fence error so he has to be a threat. Gibbstown has never won under Rules and connections won't be pleased that he's gone up 6lb for finishing runner-up at Musselburgh. Samson Collonges made far too many mistakes here in January after two better runs but at least he'll enjoy the conditions.
