Verdict

Navan winner Illuminati attempts to shrug off a penalty for that success but has to give plenty of weight to Malcolm Jefferson's mare LA DAMA DE HIERRO. The latter showed some promise on her debut at Wetherby and can take advantage of today's weight concessions with normal improvement. Cornerman finished only a length ahead of Benny's Secret when fifth over track and trip on his introduction with Dun Bay Creek well beaten, while Fromdusktilldawn went close in a point-to-point in November and makes his debut under Rules. Boogie Life is a half-sister to a hurdles winner and Jim Goldie has won this a couple of times in recent years.
