Verdict
Fayez has been winning over longer trips this year but may be high enough in the weights now while Glasses Up also drops down in distance. Summer Daydream moves in the opposite direction and attempts a mile for the first time having won the Two-Year-Old Trophy over 6f at Redcar last year while Banksea hasn’t looked the force of old in a couple of outings for Majorie Fife. Calvados Spirit looks no nearer ending a long losing run and Smile A Mile is upped in class so Jim Goldie’s decision to run NICHOLAS T only five days after going close at Hamilton may prove a wise one and the latter gets the vote to go one better.
