In depth
Verdict
Mountain Rescue has won seven races, including from higher marks, so has to be on the shortlist. Sin E Sheckells has moved from Ireland where he's run well on testing ground the last twice but VIVA VOCE made an impressive debut on Turf at Redcar in August and started favourite when stepped up a grade over 6f at Haydock but couldn't go the pace and this trip should be in his favour. David Barron's charge gets the vote though Ugo Gregory was always doing enough when scoring over the track and trip last week and is an obvious threat despite a penalty.
