    Verdict

Classy Anne continues to defy the handicapper but is up a further 6lb after winning at Hamilton last week beating Hazelrigg and Bunce. The last-named had earlier beaten Gowanharry when scoring over track and trip. Master Bond beat Ambitious Icarus at Hamilton last month and an apprentice negates most of a 4lb rise in the weights. The former should go close once again but a chance is taken on POLSKI MAX returning to form. He looks likely to get his preferred softer ground today and is now 6lb lower than when winning a handicap last season. Jinky may prove best of the rest.
