Verdict

A 7lb penalty makes life more difficult for last week's Sedgefield winner The Thirsty Bricky, while Sophonie is 9lb higher than when scoring at Uttoxeter in January. Storm Surge and Primrose Time will both handle the likely testing ground, but it could prove a problem for Musselburgh winner Carrietau. NELSON DU RONCERAY should be perfectly at home in the conditions, however, as it was soft going when he scored over hurdles at this track last time and Iain Jardine's charge has won off a higher mark over the larger obstacles before.
