Verdict

MUMGOS DEBUT has definitely improved since being sent chasing and though he had no answer to Decent Lord at Newcastle he is handed the vote despite a big weight as this is a very poor contest. Hotgrove Boy has now had 21 starts without winning and connections won't be pleased that he's gone up 3lb for finishing runner-up to Proud Times at Catterick though he should still be capable of winning a race of this nature. Too Cool To Fool won three times over hurdles including twice here and can race from a 19lb lower mark over fences. He jumped well when runner-up here last month but that was over 3m1f and this looks too short. Forestside has yet to win in 19 starts over fences though Barry Murtagh will be hoping the champion jockey can galvanise him but it's hard to make a case out for the remainder even in such lowly grade.
